This was one of the first of the ,pots fired in the Summertown 'Anagama' sometime around 1975-76. It was wood-fired with the actual fuel coming into contact with the pot. The pot was fired in a small saggar close to the fire-box. I exhibited this pot three times and I am now glad no one bought it: it is still in my possession.Photo by Clayton Glen.
