This bowl is similar to the previous one but the red is a fugitive colour that can also yield yellow. I have used this oxide for many years and don't know its chemical composition but I can hazard a guess from the way it behaves. It can also yield a soft pink on a neptheline syenite glaze fired under reduction. 2010
